the problem with "sticking random clips in and seeing what works" is that i get caught in timing and movement that i have this illusion that things look somewhat decent when in fact nothing makes any sense whatsoever.

God, that's exactly what's bugging me about my current vid. I didn't outline it as much as I did most of my previous vids and so large chunks of it are pretty but with little substance. Hopefully I'll have fixed that problem by the end of tonight.
