f1renzeOh, my god. The last 2+ weeks have been a lot more stress and drama than I ever thought I could handle in an entire lifetime. But it's over now. And not only did I survive, I survived. And right now, all I wanna do is take a moment to appreciate the good stuff.
Because I just turned in the final -- revised, approved, final -- version of my dissertation. This feels more real to me than passing the defense, because everything's now official: I really have the Ph.D.
There's so much I want to say, and those words will come, but right now I'm a useless ball of RELIEF and I need to recover first. But yes.
I did it. It is done.

sweetestdrain and nerdanel are your guardian angels, and Matt Pond PA's "It Is Safe" took you to the homestretch. Remember this.
Oh -- also remember that this is the year your school starts doing online diss submissions, and that this makes you feel so Next Generation, yo.
