today i turn 26

f1renzeSince my last birthday, I have:
- Decided not to leave the country for good.
- Ended an eight-year relationship and an engagement.
- Gotten my PhD.
- Obtained permission to stay in the US.
- Turned down a good job offer at home country.
- Found an even more fitting job in the city.
- Started dating someone new.
- Fallen in love.
- Moved to a new place and made it home.
- Never felt happier for as long as I can remember.
Thank you for the birthday wishes. It's a really special one, this time.

Date: 2006-10-02 12:23 am (UTC)I would recommend against spaniels. They are wonderfully affectionate but tend to get neurotic if their humans can't be with them every second of the day.
Find a dog park. Dog parks are amazing places and showing up at one with a new puppy is about as close as most of us will ever get to being a rock star.
