I survived my first traffic court experience, yay! Made me feel all adult-like. It was a gloomy day back in December when I turned on a No Turn on Red *and* did not have my insurance card with me. (OMGWTF I AM BADASS!) Anyway. It's an evil place, the court house. Everyone's in a hurry and the officers were all cocky and no food was allowed in the building. I had to throw my lunch in the garbage :(

But I made it out okay! Got my license back. And now I can buy booze without getting weird looks for using my home country ID as substitute.

On to random matters,

New Fandom!

Oh my god. Thanks to eleveninches, I am hooked on Hex. BAD. So bad that even during the PILOT episode my insides were screaming Vid song come to me pleeeeaase!!! (because it is never the case that you come to them. sigh.) So I finished the eps in one day and now I am having withdrawals and I may be dying.

But what's it about, Flo?!

Gah. It's everything I love and more. I won't say anything cause I am too hyper to form sentences and really, because you shouldn't be spoiled.

Also? You know how people pimp you to fandoms that take a gazillion years to download its 52 seasons and 6729 episodes, not including the 3-hour pilot? Not Hex, man. One season so far. Five episodes. All it takes is 2 GB and one cozy evening and you, too, along with your attention deficit, can join in on the fun.

Vidding

Have you ever vidded something that's SO fun you don't ever want to finish? I hadn't, until this Angel vid. I think that if I finish, I will suffer from post-partum depression and no. I don't wanna! Can't I just watch it in its imperfections and protect it forever?

That is the BEST FEELING EVER. I felt that way making my last vid (Pet) and OMG I didn't want to finish. I just wanted to ride the whole "yay! I'm vidding! It doesn't suck and it's fun and I'm not *stuck!*" wave forever.

That said, I cannot WAIT to see your Angel vid. :glee: Aaaangel!

Linzee, will never, ever be able to vid Angel...but loves watching others' vids for it. *g*

But the best part of finishing a vid, is then watching it grow up and be loved by *so* many people. Which is *so* what I see happening here since all I have heard is good things from people who have seen the WiP of this vid.

ALSO Vid song come to me pleeeeaase!!! YES, ME TOO. Though the only song so far that I can mindvid to it is A Perfect Circle's "Counting Bodies Like Sheep To The Rhythm of the War Drums" and it's a shaky mindvid at that.

BUT, the few Hex fanvids I have seen have been pretty AWESOME. It's hard not to be with all that PRETTY.

It is unlikely to be pursued, because I have two more important vids I need to make for somebody, and that is pushing it. I think my max is two vids a year. :( However! Should I get around to vidding those songs, I will rudely demand that you be my beta, because my last beta is actually going to be the person I'm going to make the vids for, thus I cannot show them to her before readiness.
