1. Total volume of music files on my computer: I am at work and I have about 5 GBs here. I actually have less at home (around 2.5 GBs?), since home computer is always doing 237 different fannish things at once and most of my music listening happens during the day and in the car.
2. The Last CD I bought was: I honestly don't remember.
3. The Last Song I Listened To Before Writing This: "Take Me Anywhere" by Tegan and Sara.
4. Five Songs I Listen To A Lot:
1. Oh my god, "I'm a Cuckoo" by Belle and Sebastian. It just NEVER.FAILS.
2. "Float On" by Modest Mouse ::tries hard not to impose guilt onsisabet::
3. "Fighting in the Sack" by The Shins
4. "Los Angeles, I'm Yours" by The Decemberists
5. "You Wouldn't Like Me" by Tegan and Sara
I don't listen to To Vid songs at work because I care about the well-being of my uber-cool officemate. It's bad enough he gets near-heart attacks every time something hooks me.
Now, five songs that I have been listening to a lot in the past couple of months would be:
They tend to be mine or others' vidsongs.
1. "Lemon Meringue" by Poe. This is my L Word Season 1 vidsong, which I will get to making eventually.
2. My Angel vidsong, which shall not be named.
3. "Sounds of Silence" bysisabet Richard Ashcroft, due to new John/Aeryn love.
4. "Mr Brightside" bysockkpuppett The Killers
5. "Biomusicology" by Ted Leo and The Pharmacists - wants to be a(n ensemble) vid.
Bonus: "New Slang (When You Notice the Stripes)" by The Shins. OMG, Garden State made me sing from start to end. MY PLAYLIST!
Btw - I have to cherish the time before my possible or in-progress vidsongs actually turn into vids, because once they do, that's it. I can't listen to them anymore, to the extent that I *freak out* when they come up on my playlist. So loaded. GAH.
And now I tag five people to also complete this meme - BUT ONLY IF THEY WANT TO DO IT!!
