Yay! I'm so tired that I'm not sure if I'm hallucinating, but I feel like I noticed a lot of little things that are much better now - will have to put it side by side with the old version and look though to be sure (or ask you on IM sometime ;)
Random things that, again, I might just be forgetting how they were in the old Elvn and don't have that one with me to check...are these different? (if this was Affirmation, I'd know - not that I have that vid memorized or anything :-P)
- the order of the clips in the "you make me want to fly" sequence where J is King of Babylon? Something has to be different - it seems like clip order, but maybe just clip speed or something? I don't know.
- the timing of the music, clips, or both at the end - the last few clips down to Justin with the condom between his teeth. It seemed to go by much more quickly in this new version.
- is the fast transition slightly differently edited (clips, speedwise)?
- the quality is definitely so much better, and not just video, but audio. In fact, the audio difference was noticeable before the video quality difference to me, in the first few secs.
Now, I've undoubtedly made a fool of myself by noticing all the wrong things. Chalk it up to long drive tonight and the fact that I'm tired and don't remember the original, but really appreciate how awesome the new one is. Even if I didn't catch any of the real changes and noted all the wrong things ;) lol

No, we didn't change any ordering here. I did tweak one of the dancing clips that comes soon after, so that might have influenced your viewing pace?

There was only a tiny bit of tightening up in one of the clips (hardly noticeable at all), but the very last clip (the one with the condom) was tweaked, yes. It now starts to appear a bit later but ends sooner.

No, but Wendy thinks clearer picture can influence what you're able to see with the editing, which makes sense.

OMG! *so* clear!! I love it! You must tell me what programs you use. I've recently tried to re-save my Sunshine video into a larger format because I just got Dr DivX so I'll be able to compress it better, but I soon realized I recorded the initial video in LOW QUALITY. GAH!!! So what do you use? Because it looks DVD quality.
Not sure what you mean here, but Premiere is our editing software. (We use a couple of other programs to rip, adjust, convert, etc.)

LOL because it is ripped from DVDs. We went back from zero to make new clips from DVDs using a codec that does not lose quality whatsoever (because eventually we're gonna have the highest quality possible for Vividcon). So yeah, resaving the old project file with higher-quality settings wouldn't work.
