The song is "You Were The Last High" by The Dandy Warhols. It's B/J, but more of a Brian character study than anything else. This vid is special to us because it's unlike the ones we've done before, both conceptually and in terms of editing style. We hope it means we're growing :) Sorta :-S

Home now!! And just watched... You guys are freakishly awesome with this stuff.
OK - first, as I've mentioned, this is one of my absolute favouritest songs, like whoa. So this was an absolute pleasure to watch.
Bits:
-The transitions were superlative - the intercuts, the fades (you know what I'm talking about, I'm not down with the lingo yet)... GORGEOUS.
-Poor Brian - whoring himself, and looking wistfully at himself in the mirror. *sniffle*
-Very clever the way you edited it so that it looked like Justin was playing off of Brian's acknowledgement of the trick at the diner, which then segued into the whole Justin/Ethan vomit-fest, and how that was intercut with Brian fucking the pain away. :((
-The "..all of the things you shouldn't say" was used perfectly with the S3 angst. :(
-S4 CLIPS!! LEMME SAY THAT AGAIN - S4 CLIPS!!! *DANCES*
-And OMG, poor Brian, all alone again at the end, still whoring himself.
-And last, but certainly not least - THANK YOU FOR ALL THE GRATUITOUS GALE-TORSO. I AM IN HEAVEN.

Once again, you caught my favorite section. And we thought your "fucking the pain away" interpretation is interesting! The way I looked at it was, "Look what Justin is doing while you're tricking, Brian!", or, in Wendy's words, "It's like Brian's too busy tricking to stop Justin."

You know, I was just thinking about that. If you just take the 'vid' as the context, it looks like Brian's just back to his old ways at the end. But of course if you know the show, you know that this may be the beginning of the end for Brian and his endless tricking and whoring and being adored (by everyone that's not Justin of course). Very interesting.

Dude - you know that in my widdle brain, EVERYTHING is about the B/J, so of course I would interpret it that way, even though you didn't actually choose clips from after Justin had left him. Still, to me, he looked like he was just fucking himself into oblivion, to hide the hurt. :"> But I can see it your way too. :)
